Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd. Former Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital was established in 1996. The aim of this hospital is to serve people by providing the best health care services in Bangladesh. It became one of the most recognized and renowned hospitals in Bangladesh. Today, after one decade of serving people, it is now better known as Universal Medical College & Hospital Ltd. former Aysha Memorial Specialized Hospital (Pvt.) Ltd. (AMSHPL).
Then after the hospital was a huge success, they decided to establish a college. And finally Universal Medical College was established in 2013. This is a non-profitable college and it provides the best quality doctors who are most experienced. The college follows the motto “Smile for All”. After passing the final professional MBBS examination students have to enroll for a one year internship program. Within this one year 11 months & 15 days at medical college hospital and 15 days at UHC. The internship program will be more structured and beneficial to the students. It is compulsory for students to undergo the internship process to get permission for independent practice.
