Chattagram International Medical College (CIMC) is a non-Government medical college with a 250 bed Medical College Hospital established in 2013 at Chandgaon, Chattagram, the main port city of Bangladesh with the approval from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BM&DC), affiliation from University of Chittagong from the very beginning and by Chittagong Medical University from 2017.
The college is offering a 5-year MBBS graduate course followed by 1 year Internship training as per BM&DC Curriculum. The academic activities of the college is conducted by a group of highly dedicated extraordinary high-quality teachers for basic, paraclinical and clinical subjects. The professional examinations are conducted independently by affiliating university following a fully electronically generated coding system. For academic development of the teachers the college is providing faculty development program through regular CME by an independent Medical Education Unit (MEU) headed by a professional medical educationist as per guidance of National Centre for Medical Education (CME), teachers training, workshop, seminar, symposium etc.
