Studying MBBS in Bangladesh become the best destination for international students. IBN SINA Medical College was established in 2004, located in Kallyanpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The academic activities of Ibn Sina Medical College commenced through the admission of 50 students in the 2004-05 academic session. Through the years up to 2021, 17 batches of total 986 students have undertaken the course. The college is affiliated with the University of Dhaka and recognized by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council, the competent Authority of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The students of 12th batch are about to complete their internship in our own hospital. The admission procedure of session 2021-2022 is now ongoing. The admission is based on merit keeping in conformity with government order published and adopted by the Academic Council and adorned by the Governing Body of ISMC.
The college offers a five-year course of study, approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dhaka University. After passing the final professional examination, there is a compulsory one year internship. The internship is a prerequisite for obtaining registration from the BMDC to practice medicine. In October 2014, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare capped admission and tuition fees at private medical colleges at 1,990,000 Bangladeshi taka (US$25,750 as of 2014) total for their five-year courses.

Eligibility Criteria for IBN SINA Medical College and Hospital, Bangladesh
- Must have passed qualifying examinations (HSLC/’A’ level) or equivalent examination.
- Minimum aggregate GPA in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent and in HSC / ‘A’ level or equivalent examination: 7.00 (seven)
- Minimum GPA in SSC / ‘O’ level or equivalent and in HSC / ‘A’ level or equivalent examination: 3.0
- Minimum GPA in Biology 3.5 means no one takes admission below 60 marks in Biology
- For calculation of GPA against the mark obtained in SSC/’O’ level or equivalent exam, only top 5 subjects are considered for calculation of GPA. Therefore, GPA in ‘O’ level = (total marks obtained in top five subjects)/5.
- Optional subjects shall be considered if GPA is below 5 (five).
7. Students must carry the qualifying marks obtained in their NEET Exam.

IBN SINA Medical College and Hospital, Bangladesh Admission Process:
- First thing first, get all the documents needed i.e., 10th + 12th mark sheets + certificate + admit cards attested from Bangladesh High Commission, Delhi.
- Fill the application form the college official website in the month of September.
- Send the attested documents [original and copy] to the college, a necessity for acquisition.
- After receiving student’s application, the university will send a conformational offer letter for admission in Ibn Sina Medical College.
- After that, the student will be issued an equivalency certificate in Bangladesh from DGHS and the confirmed admission letter from Ibn Sina Medical College.
o Then submit the first year of admission fee to the college and apply for a student visa. The following documents are required for application: Class 10 & 12-Admit card, mark sheet & certificate.
